When I wake up each morning, I want it to go like this:
Go to the bathroom.
Jump rope for 10-15 minutes.
Weigh in - remind myself that I need to eat well.
Shower.
Drink water, coffee and protein rich breakfast.
Read email and get down to business.
Have one phone call, max two (ideally no face to face meetings).
Prepare lunch.
Do errands, meetings, housekeeping.
Nap.
Read for pleasure or business.
Write for pleasure (journaling) or business.
Prepare dinner.
Exercise.
Netflix.
Sleep.
The more days that my life looks like this, the more productive and blissful I am. One thing I've observed in myself is that I need to get down to business right away. I can't start my morning with fun or much exercise. I'm programmed to get my homework done before I can let myself relax.
What about you? Have you thought about your perfect day? Have you ever written it down?
