Ben is the founder of Frontier Marketing Company. Its focus is to bring efficient and effective direct-response fundraising to charities across Canada. Founded in late 2010, today Frontier has a dozen employees and over $1.4M in annual revenue with clients in Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal. Ben currently spends his time leading the Research & Development arm of Frontier, at Charity Electric Co.
For several years Ben has worked as a Marketing Strategist in the financial services industry, helping to generate higher ROI advertising spending, improve product offering, and direct capital investment.
In 2008 He and Heath Johns founded Urbantastic, a website service dedicated to connecting skilled volunteers with organizations in need. You can read about it in a feature article in the Globe and Mail.
Ben is a 2006 graduate of Royal Roads University's Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management program. In fall 2010 he earned his Certified Management Accounting (CMA, now CPA) designation.
