When I was envisioning what Frontier should look and feel and act like as an office culture, I listed group size as a critical element in overall chemistry. Our Frontier team is capped at 12 members, which the army describes as a squad or a section. It's very close. If we're going to survive the winter (fundraising season), we need to need each other. More isn't always better, and for better or worse at 30 people we'd have a different culture.
